JUST IN: Old, new naira notes remains legal tender till further notice – Supreme Court
The Supreme Court declared on Wednesday that both old and new naira notes will continue to be legal tender.
The court ruled that the previous N200, N500, and N1000 notes might be used until further notice.
The Supreme Court ordered that both the old and new notes must be used until the Federal Government implements a process for their replacement or redesign after consulting with relevant parties.
