On Thursday, Mr. Bethrand Onuoha, the state police commissioner, honoured 168 Inspectors who had lately been promoted with their new rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police II, sparking wild celebration at the Kogi State Police Command headquarters in Lokoja.
SP The State Police Public Relations Officer, William Ovye Aya, confirmed the Thursday decorating of the new officers in a statement from Lokoja.

In front of their loved ones, friends, and well-wishers, the Officers were presented with their new rank and decorations.
