Kogi poll: How INEC officials tampered with result sheets – Dino Melaye raises alarm
Sen. Dino Melaye, governorship candidate of the Kogi State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has warned that all polling stations in Ogori/Magongo local government areas of the State have had their result sheets tampered with or prefilled.
Melaye went on to say that there are extensive protests in the units because voters are refusing to be recognized and asking that voters in the region be allowed access to the simple result sheets.
In a brief video posted on social media Saturday morning, the former senator urged the people to fight any misconduct that may jeopardize their dreams as Kogi people.
“The result sheets have been filled and tampered with already, and people have refused to accredit, people have refused to vote and they are insisting th
at the plain result sheets must be returned to agents in accordance with the electoral law,” he said.
