#KogiDecides2023: Dino Melaye seeks cancellation of 5 LGA election results

Platinum Times previously reported that Melaye failed to appear at his voting unit in the state’s Iluafon quarters, Aiyetoro 1, Ijumu Local Government Area.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission had also visited his polling stations.

Dino and the African Democratic Congress candidate, Leke Abejide, widely known as “Elder,” are the two major candidates vying for the office of governor from the Kogi West Senatorial District.

Electoral observers believe Abejide, a sitting legislator, may have an impact on Dino’s chances in the governorship election.

Dino’s home state of Kogi-West has never produced a governor since the state’s existence.
