The Lagos State Police Command has detained 27-year-old Abubakar Haruna for transformer cable theft.
On Saturday, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos state police public relations officer, announced this via the “X” account.
He wrote, ” Following a distress call, officers of Onikan Division have arrested one Abubakar Haruna, aged 27, after he jumped into a compound, and cut off cables from the transformer within the premises.
“He was arrested with a machete, two saws, and pliers. Investigation is ongoing.”
