LLPC confers SAN on Falana, Ajulo, Agbebi, Alli, 54 others

54 more people have been approved as Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SANs) by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC), among them Dr. Kayode Ajulo, Funmi Falana, the spouse of Barrister Femi Falana (SAN), Mrs. Folashade Alli, the daughter of Chief Afe Babalola (SAN), Abiola Oyebanji, and Bomo Agbebi.
In a statement issued on Thursday night, LPPC Secretary Mr. Hajo Bello announced the selected candidates.
LPPC had previously chosen 69 lawyers for the prestigious rank of SAN.
On the list were Kingsley Obamogie, Felix Offia, Lawrence Falade, and Daniel Uruakpa.
“The LPPC, Chairmanship of His Lordship, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, approved their rank as SAN,” Bello said in the statement.
He said the swearing-in ceremony of the 58 successful applicants would take place on Nov. 27.
Ajulo is a rights activist renowned for his extensive knowledge and activism in various areas of law.

After earning his first legal degree from the University of Jos, he continued his study at other foreign universities.
He is presently a research scholar at Lincoln University College and serves as an adjunct instructor at a number of universities, including Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State, the university in his home state.
