Five engineering and science courses have been approved by Maranatha University, a private, faith-based university in Lagos.
This was communicated via the institution’s private website: www.maranathauniversitylagos.edu.ng
This development has brought the number of courses being offered in the Institution to twenty.
After its accreditation and approval by the National University Commission (NUC) in 2022, the faith based institution promised to raise the moral standards while grooming its students.
The management also promised to deploy personnel with expertise in differing fields of studies so as to make their students most competitive among their contemporaries anywhere in the world.
The statement reads; “Maranatha University, Lagos is pleased to announce the approval of the following programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC); effective from the 2023/2024 Session:
1. B.Sc Information Technology
2. B.Sc Urban and Regional Planning
3. B. Eng Computer Engineering
4. B. Eng Electrical & Electronic Engineering
5. B. Eng Mechanical Engineering.”
This brings to 20 the number of programmes approved for the University spread across 4 Faculties.
