Police in Borno State detained a couple who were having sex inside the All Saints Protestant Church, Police College, Maiduguri, the northeast state’s capital.
The pair, named as Kaka Ali Umar of Damboa Road and Khadija Adam of Ngomari, Maiduguri, were apprehended on Monday, February 12, 2024, at approximately 11:40 a.m.
Rev Danjuma Adamu informed the police that they were having sex directly inside his church when they were apprehended.
Khadija stated that Kaka Ali paid her N1,000 for a short time.
The two suspects have been held pending additional investigations.
