My administration fought Corruption – Buhari replies Adokie

Ex President Muhammadu Buhari has stated that his reign rid Nigeria of corruption.
Buhari claimed that his administration shielded Nigeria from undertones of corruption that were intended to cause the country’s economy to crash.
In response to claims made against him by Mohammed Adokie, a former attorney general of the federation and minister of justice, regarding Process & Industrial Developments (P&ID), the Paris Club, and the Ajaokuta steel plant, he revealed this in a statement released by his spokesperson, Garba Shehu.
The former president claimed that Adokie’s lawsuits were from an administration in which he served as attorney general.
Buhari emphasized that the contract and incidental judgment in the P&ID were passed down to his administration.
The statement reads partly:
“The logical conclusion any reasonable person can draw on P&ID, Paris Club, and Ajaokuta is that President Buhari came on a rescue mission and effectively saved Nigeria from corrupt undertones that were planted to expose its economy to imminent collapse. The success of the Buhari administration in the fight against corruption is unprecedented.”
