NAF airstrikes neutralize, raids terrorists enclaves in Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) stated on Sunday that it had neutralised multiple terrorist elements at Tsauni Doka in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, NAF’s Director of Public Relations and Information, revealed this in an Abuja statement.

According to Gabkwet, the NAF component of Operation Whirl Punch carried out the air interdiction mission.

The strikes, according to him, were carried out after solid intelligence showed the presence of a terrorist leader known as Boderi and his foot soldiers at Tsauni Doka.

He stated that the air attacks were carried out in the early hours of November 16, with catastrophic results for the terrorists.

“Both strikes were termed very successful as several terrorists were neutralised and their motorcycles destroyed,” he said.

“Boderi and his brother Nasiru, alongside their cohorts, have been blamed for several attacks and abductions along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway, Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road as well as in several communities in Niger and Kaduna States.”
