Lagos, Rivers, and the Federal Capital Territory would have the greatest Internally Generated Revenue in 2022, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

The three states with the greatest IGR during the study period were Lagos (N651 billion), Rivers (N172 billion), and FCT (N124 billion), according to the report.
The three states with the worst performance in 2022 were Kebbi, Taraba, and Yobe, with respective budgets of N9,146 billion, N10,238 billion, and N10,456 billion.
From the revenue in the subcategories PAYE, Direct Assessment, Road Taxes, Stamp Duties, Capital Gain Tax, Withholding Taxes, Other Taxes, and Local Government Areas, the 36 states and the FCT generated a total of N1.93 trillion IGR.
