Niger Coup: PDP Governors urges Tinubu to embrace dialo

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been advised by governors elected on the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, platform, to utilize diplomacy and discussion rather than declare war on the Nigerien coupists.

The group declared this during the meeting in Abuja, according to a statement released on Saturday by the forum chairman’s press secretary, Humwashi Wonosikou.

It was reported that Bala Mohammed, the chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum, reiterated the necessity for party discipline and zero tolerance for anti-party actions and procedures.

He pledged to realign and stabilize the party, stating that the PDP’s essential principles of loyalty and unity still apply.

The group reaffirmed its support for Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s presidential candidate, and promised to take all legal steps to help him recover the stolen mandate from the tribunal.

To achieve effective leadership, accountability, and openness at the state and federal levels, the governors pledged to collaborate with the party.
