Niger Foods to set up 30,000-Hectare farm Estate in Ishau area

Niger Foods has obtained a lease agreement to establish a 30,000-hectare agriculture estate in Ishau District.

The agreement was signed at the Emir Palace, in the presence of Minna’s Emir, Alh (Dr) Umar Faruq Bahago.

The program is consistent with Governor Umaru Bago’s pledge to establishing farm estates in Niger State’s 25 local government districts. Niger Foods’ Chairman signed on behalf of the company, while Mr James Kwasau, District Head of Ishau, represented the district.

The Emir of Minna commended the Farmer Governor’s agricultural revolution plan and committed to support Niger Foods’ mission.

The Chairman of Niger Foods praised the decision as a significant milestone and announced other planned initiatives in Minna Emirate.
