Nigerian woman flying to London dies inside plane

 

On a flight operated by Egypt Air, a young Nigerian woman (name withheld) who was en route to London, United Kingdom, has died. 

On Monday, the woman was reportedly traveling from Nigeria to London on Egypt Air aircraft MS 876 through Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA), Lagos, when she passed away in the air.

The corpse was dropped in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, according to a family source who corroborated the incident.

“The family claimed that the airline failed to notify them; instead, they received word of her passing on board the aircraft from the diplomatic office in Cairo. Please let them know what actually happened and how to return her body to Nigeria, according to a source close to the family.

Our journalist discovered that the woman was traveling to London on a student visa and had boarded an Egypt Air flight for her connection.

The following day, she was to take Egypt Air’s MS777 to London.

At the time of publication, Egypt Air had not yet responded, according to a source close to the airline, who claimed they were still expecting word from Cairo over the event.
