Nigerians who voted Tinubu now regretting – PDP

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chapter in Ondo State expressed worry on Tuesday over the economic challenges that Nigerians were experiencing, saying that they were under pressure to support President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The main opposition group emphasized how many people who first backed the APC are now regretting their choice and feeling vindicated.

This was said by Kennedy Peretei, the state’s PDP publicity secretary, in response to remarks made by Ade Adetimehin, the APC’s chairman in Ondo State, who asserted that the PDP was now defunct.

Peretei emphasized that Adetimehin should apologize on behalf of the APC for the misery and hardships caused upon Nigerians rather than making such claims.

Peretei further added,

“It would have been unnecessary to engage in a debate with Mr. Ade Adetimehin, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ondo State, regarding his careless statements.

“Adetimehin is probably the only person who is oblivious to the fact that Ondo State people hold his party, the APC, and its inhuman government responsible for their suffering and agony of the last eight years. Especially the withdrawal of fuel subsidies and their biting effect on everybody.

“He does not realise that even those who were tricked to vote APC in the 2023 general elections are already regretting and lamenting their miscalculation that has brought about untold hardship on them and their families.”
