Wale Edun, the minister of finance and co-minister of the economy, has been chosen to lead the World Bank’s African Governors’ Forum.
African finance ministers and central bank governors have a forum to discuss topics of mutual interest with the World Bank through the African Governors’ Forum.
According to a statement on the X page of the Ministry of Finance, Edun’s appointment marks a first for Nigeria.
