NLC Strike: Full compliance in Oyo as FG workers shut down secretariat

On Tuesday, workers in Oyo State who are employed by the federal government of Nigeria complied with the NLC’s directives to observe a two-day warning strike.
According to Platinum Times, the NLC had earlier asked workers nationwide to observe a two-day warning strike.
The need to find answers to the recent removal of the subsidy on Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) led to the necessity of the strike.
According to Platinum Times, on Tuesday, employees at the Federal Secretariat in Ibadan avoided their workplaces in order to follow the mandate.
The Federal Secretariat complex in Ibadan was secured when our correspondent visited the location in the morning.
It was discovered that the employees avoided working.
To ensure compliance, labor activists also blocked the secretariat’s gate.
