Fuel Subsidy Removal: NLC TUC threatens fresh strike if N720/litter is enforced

On Monday, Organized Labour threatened to proceed with a complete, all-encompassing, and indefinite nationwide shutdown of the nation if the price of gasoline at the pump rose again from the current 617 naira.

At a meeting of the African Trade Union Alliance in Abuja, NLC President Joe Ajaero issued the warning.

He also cautioned against undercutting union demands.

This occurs amid rumors that the price of gasoline at the pump could rise by N720 per litre.
