No manhood vanished at Govt House – Niger govt

The Niger State Government has debunked a rumor that claimed someone’s genitalia were taken during an incident at the Government House in Minna.
Bologi Ibrahim, the governor’s chief press secretary, claimed in a statement that the rumor circulating about the incident and the subsequent disappearance of the offender was false.
The administration officially declared that the rumor has no basis in reality and is absolutely untrue.
It noted,
“While acknowledging the important roles of the media in reporting news, it remains pertinent that journalists exercise responsible journalism and refrain from spreading unverified rumours that can cause panic and anxiety among the public.”
The governor’s media aide also reassured the public that the security measures at the Government House Minna remain robust and efficient, as it has always been saying,” the security operatives are always conscious of the safety and well-being of everyone within the premises and the state as a whole.”
He further called on the public to rely on credible sources of information and refrain from sharing or spreading unverified rumours.
“We are calling on the residents of the state to disregard the rumour and go about their lawful businesses,” the statement added.
