Northern Governors louds APC over Ganduje’s chairmanship emergence

The Northern States Governors’ Forum has praised the election of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as the new national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, replacing their former colleague.
Ganduje’s election, according to a statement on Thursday from the Forum’s chairman and governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, not only highlights the faith and confidence other party stakeholders and members have in him but also showcases his remarkable leadership skills.
The announcement also praised Senator Ajibola Basiru’s election as the party’s national secretary after serving as its spokesperson in the Senate.
He emphasized to Ganduje that his successful term as governor of Kano State indicated his dedication to the well-being of the populace, the growth of the APC, and the development of the country.
“As the newly elected national chairman, you hold a critical position in steering our great party towards a united and prosperous future.
“Your experience and strategic vision will be vital in addressing the challenges ahead and harnessing the collective strength of the APC to bring about positive change for all Nigerians.
“We are confident that under your able guidance, the party will chart a course of progress, inclusivity, and good governance that will resonate with citizens across the country in line with President Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope’ mantra,” the statement noted.
He praised the leadership direction and guidance of President Tinubu, which he said facilitated the smooth conduct of the caucus and NEC meetings that produced the new helmsmen of the APC.
