The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kogi State Command, would send out three thousand personnel to provide security for the governorship election on November 11.

On Wednesday in Lokoja, state commandant Ahmad Gandi revealed this to reporters.

He said,

“The Command has concluded plans to give adequate coverage and no stone will be left unturned to ensure that the election is hitch-free.”

Gandi added that, since he assumed duty in the state, he has been able to prosecute 24 cases and secure over 90 per cent convictions.
