NSCDC burst, destroys illegal crude oil storeroom, arrest two in Imo (photos)

In separate operations across Imo State, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) discovered illegal crude oil warehouses and captured two individuals.

On Sunday, the NSCDC posted details about these raids on its official Facebook page, along with photographs of the successful enforcement efforts.

The post reads in part:

“Intensifying the war against economic saboteurs: The CG SIS arrests two suspected economic saboteurs and impounds one Toyota Sequoia jeep loaded with over 5,000 litres of suspected adulterated AGO at Abacheke of Ohaji/Egbema LGA of Imo State.”

Additionally, NSCDC revealed that during the operations, two illegal crude oil warehouses located in a dense forest in Izorsu community of Oguta II Local Government Area and Umuofor community of Oguta Local Government Area in Imo State were discovered and subsequently destroyed.
