Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood actress, has revealed that the nurse who treated late Nigerian rapper, Ilerioluwa Olademeji Aloba, nicknamed Mohbad, before his death has been arrested.
She made the announcement in a video message posted on her Instagram page on Wednesday night, while updating fans on her visit to the Lagos State Commissioner of Police and the status of the police investigation into Mohbad’s death.
She said other arrests have also been made by the police.
Ojo said,
“The police have made some arrests [in connection with Mohbad’s death]. The nurse has been arrested. That I know. That’s the only information I can give you right now.
“They have arrested some people. They are asking some people to turn themselves in.”
Mohbad died in a controversial manner on September 12, 2023, according to Platinum Times.
In an interview, his father, James Aloba, stated that he suspected the auxiliary nurse who shot Mohbad before he died, emphasizing that the injection may have exacerbated his son’s health.
