PEPT: Security operatives surrounds Appeal Court headquarters in Abuja

Security personnel had effectively surrounded the area and the roads leading to the Court of Appeal offices in Abuja as of Tuesday evening at 7 p.m.
Prior to Wednesday’s decision, men from the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) were observed transporting items from the neighboring Force Headquarters to the Appeal Court headquarters, where the Presidential Election Petition Court (PEPC) was sitting.
By 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, traffic on several of the highways going to court had been significantly reduced.
Access to the Three-Arms-Zone, where the court is located, will reportedly be limited starting at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
“Our personnel and resources have been appropriately mobilized for the exercise on Wednesday. We don’t expect any problems. We wish the politicians and those who support them well-behaved behavior.
“After the sessions, we’ll talk and collectively evaluate the situation. I’m hoping everything works out,” the official stated. the country
