The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election has responded to Former Presidential aide Reno Omokri over his comments on his administration.
Omokri had earlier challenged Obi’s supporters popularly called ‘Obidients’ to mention one school Obi built while in office as Anambra State Governor from 2007 to 2014.
According to the video:
Interviewer: Somebody recently accused you that you didn’t complete any new school as governor.
Obi: Well, you need to go and read my manifesto. You know what we do here is that we don’t read people manifesto and know what they promised. When I was campaigning to be governor as you know and I’m sure you are aware that for nearly two years the schools in Anambra were shut down. When I was campaigning, I said I will change the educational system in the state where schools will not be closed. I make sure I give the best education because back then we have male girl child issue where males were not in schools and I said I will reverse that. Obi said
