Petrol tanker explodes in Kaduna, 20 injured

After a tanker explosion at a gas station in the Rigasa district of Kaduna State, at least twenty individuals suffered injuries ranging from minor to major.
In an interview with NAN on Thursday in Kaduna, Mr. Paul Aboi, the Director of the Kaduna State Fire Service, disclosed this information.
Five federal firefighters, a few members of the Kaduna Vigilance Service, and bystanders were among those hurt, according to Aboi.
The director stated that the Barau Dikko Specialist Hospital in Kaduna is now providing care to the injured fire service members.
The event happened on Wednesday as the tanker was unloading gasoline at the station, he said.
Aboi said that the filling station’s incompetence was to fault for the tragedy, claiming that the gasoline dumping shouldn’t have happened in the afternoon.
