Plateau Speaker gives oath of office to nine out of 16 APC lawmakers

Nine of the sixteen lawmakers from the All Progressives Congress, APC, have been sworn in by Plateau State House of Assembly Speaker Gabriel Dewan.

The Nation reports that the swearing-in took place in the early hours of Friday in Jos, the state capital.

According to the report, the member from Jos East was appointed Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.
