The House of Representatives has confirmed the service chief nominees made by President Bola Tinubu.
After reviewing a report provided by Babajimi Benson, the chairman of the committee that reviewed the nominee on Monday, the House Committee of the Whole confirmed the nomination on Wednesday.
Major General Christopher Musa, Major General Taoreed Lagbaja, Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar were all proposed by President Tinubu for the positions of Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, and Chief of Air Staff, respectively.

On June 19, their nominations were submitted to the National Assembly for approval.
Without opposition, the House approved the candidates.
