Sylvester Oromoni: Lagos coroner indicts parents, doctors, clears Dowen College
The 12-year-old pupil at Dowen College in Lekki, Lagos, Sylvester Oromoni, died naturally, according to the results of the Lagos State coroner’s inquest, which was held to determine the cause of his death.
The Lagos coroner, Magistrate Mikhail Kadiri, stated in a 255-page judgement, on Monday, that the student’s death was avoidable.
Mr Kadiri attributed the death to parental and doctors’ negligence.
“I pray that God comfort you for this great loss and make things easy for your family,” he said.
Mr Sylvester died on November 30, 2021, as a result of alleged bullying and poisoning in the school.
