In Ibadan, the state capital, the Oyo State Government declared on Tuesday that it had sealed some commercial banks and telecom mast.
According to the administration, the property was blocked off because money was not being paid into the state’s coffers as required.

During a citywide enforcement visit, the Ministry of Lands, Housing, and Urban Development’s enforcement team, led by Director, Land Use Charge, Olufisayo Ogunbiyi, shut the premises.
In the statement made available to Platinum Times, Ogunbiyi said that notices had been served on the commercial banks and the telecoms companies before the enforcement team visited them.
He emphasized that the state administration has no tolerance for failing to follow its rules.
