Under my watch, Nigeria will remain ‘Giant of Africa’ – Tinubu

On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu declared that his administration would try its hardest to restore Nigeria’s position as the Giant of Africa.

The president made this statement shortly after meeting Umaro Sissoco Embalo, the president of Guinea-Bissau and the chairman of the ECOWAS Heads of State and Government, who paid him a special visit in Lagos.

Tinubu said in a post on his official social media accounts that the two leaders had a conversation about a number of topics of interest.

“I was delighted to receive His Excellency, President Umaro Sissoco Embaló, the President of Guinea-Bissau and Chairman of the Authority of ECOWAS Heads of State and Government,” the author stated in the letter.

“We enjoyed a pleasant lunch together and discussed several issues of mutual interest”.

“I look forward to a collaborative and productive relationship with all our regional partners as the administration pursues its goal to re-establish Nigeria as the Giant of Africa”.
