The petition brought by the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) and its governorship candidate, Bernard Odoh, challenging the election of Governor Francis Nwifuru has been dismissed by the Ebonyi Election Petitions Tribunal.
The court proceeded to dismiss all of the petitioners’ requests after determining that they were all pre-election matters.
The decision on the second petition, which the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Ifeanyi Odii, filed against Nwifuru, the APC candidate, is still pending.
