Vigilante arrest 30 suspected kidnappers, yahoo boys in Nnewi

Nnewi Vigilante Service operatives apprehended thirty suspected Yahoo Boys and kidnappers in Nnewi, Anambra State.
The arrest came as a result of a raid on two premises in Obiofia, Nnewichi-Nnewi dubbed “Operation Sweep” as part of the Vigilante strategy of maintaining Nnewi free of kidnappers, armed robbers, cyber crime (Yahoo Yahoo), exploitation of young girls, and other forms of crime.
According to The Nation, the raid also resulted in the arrest of some young females who were reportedly exploited by the suspects, as well as the recovery of charms, mobile phones, and dozens of sim cards from the culprits.
According to an anonymous commander in the gang, the individuals have been turned over to authorities for further investigation and prosecution.
He stated that the Vigilante Group has locked the facility where the suspects were housed in order to conduct additional investigation into the incident.
Meanwhile, Tochukwu Ikenga, a police spokesperson, confirmed the arrest and stated that an investigation had begun.
