One Love Family’s founder, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has warned President Bola Tinubu against using military force against the Niger Republic.
According to Maharaji Ji, it is not necessary to declare war on the Niger Republic at this moment.
Satguru Maharaj Ji delivered a message cautioning against the Economic Community of West African States’ (ECOWAS) one-week deadline.
He pointed out that the ECOWAS ultimatum violates democratic norms and infringes on the nation’s sovereignty.
“One Love Family is particularly concerned by the ECOWAS ultimatum given to the coupists to restore power to the person they overthrew within one week (which was vehemently rejected by them) or face the wrath of the Union, which is presumably going to include using violent means against a sovereign member,” the statement reads.
“Given the general and widespread insecurity now bedevilling the Sahel, any international war of the nature that some people are mulling will not only compound the security challenges of the region but will also make governance more difficult as more and more people will be militarized while food, insecurity will bite harder,” he added.
