Youngest wife of late Alaafin’s joins hookup for singles

After the passing of her estranged husband in 2022, one of the wives of the late Alaafin of Oyo Queen Damilola Adeyemi, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi III, is looking for a lover.

The 26-year-old made the announcement live on Adams Kehinde, aka Lege Miami, a popular Yoruba movie star’s show for singles.

Damilola received criticism from Lege, who hosts an Instagram show for single matchmakers, for wearing a black Abaya while seeking a boyfriend.

He continued by advising the widowed queen to dress scantily so that she would appear more alluring to potential suitors.

The queens of Alaafin may either remarry following the late king’s funeral rites or remain in the palace, where the new monarch would inherit them as his wives, according to Ifa Priest Ifayemi Elebuibon.

This comes after Queen Ola Badirat, the youngest wife of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyeye, said that she had an alleged love involvement with MC Oluomo, the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and Kwami, a prominent fuji musician.

Remember how Badirat was said to be one of the Nollywood actresses secretly seeing MC Oluomo?

The queen responded to the news by claiming she was unaware that the late king had placed a limitation on her international passport prior to his passing. As a result, she was arrested while en route to Umrah and held in DSS custody for two days.

The queen said she tried to help a few people, but they were helpless, so she asked MC Oluomo for assistance and vowed to always be grateful to him.
