2023 WWC: Super Falcons coach speaks ahead of Australia clash

Randy Waldrum, the head coach of the Super Falcons, has made it seem like the team is upbeat before their upcoming Group B match against Australia.

The 0-0 draw versus Olympic winners Canada on Friday had the former African champs feeling upbeat.

The team led by Waldrum landed in Brisbane on Saturday with the goal of facing the Matildas.

The American claimed that the Super Falcons’ camp was in terrific spirits ahead of Thursday’s match at Brisbane Stadium.

“Well, I think it’s good,” Waldrum revealed in a short video posted on the Super Falcons Twitter handle.

“Yesterday, on game day plus one we just did recovery training for those players that played a lot of minutes.

“Got some yoga, got some recovery training, got them in the pool, the hot and cold tub and gave them a little bit of a break in the afternoon to go shopping and sight seeing around the hotel.”
