Just In: Tinubu appoints 8 mandate secretaries for FCTA

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointments of 8 mandate secretaries for the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA). 

The announcements were made in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja by Anthony Ogunleye, Director of Press, Office of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.

They are Mr. Lawan Geidam, Secretary of the Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat, Mr. Bitrus Garki, Secretary of the Area Council Services Secretariat, and Mr. Danlami Ihayyo, Secretary of the Education Secretariat.

Other secretaries include Mr. Salman Dako of the legal services secretariat, Dr. Adedolapo Fasawe of the health and human services secretariat, and Mr. Chinedum Elechi of the economic planning, revenue generation, and public private partnership secretariats.

Both Mr. Uboku Nyah and Muntari Abdulkadir have been appointed as secretaries of the secretariat for social development.

The swearing-in event would take place on September 12 at the International Conference Center in Abuja, according to Ogunleye.
