President Bola Tinubu received Tony Blair, former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, at State House in Abuja.
Tinubu received Blair on Tuesday shortly after landing in the nation’s capital from an official trip to Lagos.
Vanguard recalls that the President was at the country’s commercial capital to flag off the construction of the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway, which commenced in March.
Meanwhile, Blair’s visit came immediately with Tinubu meeting him with other top government functionaries.
Among those in the meeting were the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar; Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris; and Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination, Hadiza Bala Usman.
