Nigerian duo Victor Osimhen and Asisat Oshoala have been name on the Ballon d’Or nomination list.
The nomination of two Nigerian players for the prestigious prize in the same year is a remarkable first.
The first time around, Osimhen had an incredible season with Napoli, which helped the Naples-based team win their first Serie A championship in more than 30 years.
