In June, the governor temporarily withdrew from the business of the state government and left Nigeria to receive medical treatment in Germany. He delegated authority to Lucky Aiyedatiwa, his deputy, to act in his place.
His wife, Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, swiftly informed her followers on social media of her husband’s arrival. She uploaded a picture of her hubby and added the remark “homebound.”
Reliable sources indicate that Governor Akeredolu will likely depart from Abuja for Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, before moving on to Ondo State.
Additionally, a meeting with his political family and cabinet colleagues would occur on Friday in Ibadan, according to a source.
