Abubakar Musa, aka Gucci Branch, a business colleague of Marlian Music CEO Afeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley, has clarified the status of his relationship with the musical label.
Following the unfortunate death of a former signee, Ilerioluwa Aloba, nicknamed MohBad, last Tuesday, Marlian Music has been making headlines.
Musa, who has kept a low profile since his arrest alongside Naira Marley, singer Omoniyi Raphael, aka Zlatan Ibile, fashion entrepreneur Rahman Jago, and two others by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency in 2019, resurfaced in an X post on Wednesday to deny affiliations with the Marlian Music gang.
He said, “I heard they are searching for me, why are people searching for me?
“I ran for my life since 2019, I’m lowkey now.
“I am not part of the Marlians neither am I affiliated with Zlatan Ibile or Jago. I am on my own.”
