Tribunal Victory: Kano APC chairman vows to restore properties demolished by Abba Yusuf

To demonstrate that Allah had heard their prayers, the APC Kano Chairman, Abdullahi Abbas, led hundreds of party supporters to one of the demolished shopping complexes, Kofar Mata Eid Ground, for a prayer session.

The ruling on Wednesday sacked Kano state governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and upheld the petition of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Governor Yusuf demolished thes complexes.

This is simply a guarantee that when the APC finally got on board, the demolished shops would be returned to their respective owners.

According to Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, the state APC chairman, the prayer session was held to honor Almighty Allah for their victory at the State Governorship Elections Tribunal, which declared Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna the winner of the March 18, 2023 poll.

However, speaking following the prayer, Alhaji Abbas stated that Kano’s people have every reason to celebrate the APC’s return since they are the party and government that understand citizens’ feelings.

“We are back to right the wrongs and imperial tendencies meted out on you, our beloved Kano citizens,” he stated. You may rest assured that things will return to normal and your enterprises will prosper once more.”

Abbas stated that Kano, as the commercial nerve center of Northern Nigeria, had been relegated to the background under the NNPP’s claimed unlawful rule, but that with the APC’s return, things will be put back on track.

“We are going to return all demolished shops to those who were victimized and whose hard-earned wealth was destroyed,” the APC chieftain stated. This is a promise, and we will absolutely keep it.”
