Payment crises rock Mozambique squad ahead of Eagles friendly

Mozambican players have vowed to boycott a friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria owing to a salary disagreement with the country’s Football Federation.

On Monday (today), the Mambas will face the Super Eagles at the Estadio Municipal de Albufeira.

According to RM Desporto, the Football Federation paid each participant $600 for their Friday friendly versus Angola.

The players are asking an additional $600 to play against the Super Eagles.

The Federation said that the money asked by the players could jeopardize the friendly’s holding.
