Oladipupo Olabode Oladimenji, also known as Oladips, a Nigerian music artist, has reportedly pass away.
According to a message placed on his Instagram profile, he died at 10:14 p.m. on Tuesday.
Videos circulated on social media late yesterday of the Lalakukulala crooner appearing to collapse as his pals encircled him.
Oladips had turned to Instagram stories before the video went viral to plead for rescue.
In the post, he mentioned one of his friends, @onlyonelifetime, and inquired about his whereabouts. The rapper spoke about trying to call his pal multiple times and how they knew he didn’t appreciate being left alone in the house, especially with his condition.
Oladips had kept his “battles within himself” for almost two years, according to the statement.
Oladips’ remains has been returned to his family, and burial arrangements will be revealed shortly.
