Tinubu departs Abuja for Dubai hours after budget presentation

President Bola Tinubu left Abuja, Nigeria, on Wednesday for Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where he is slated to attend the COP28 Climate Summit.
Tinubu will make an address detailing Nigeria’s stance on numerous subject problems, including renewable energy and climate funding, at the summit set for December 1 and 2, 2023.
Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, said in a statement on Tuesday that the President will be accompanied by senior government officials.
Platinum Times reports that the President left the country shortly after delivering the 2024 annual budget to the joint session of the National Assembly.
