FRSC establishes nine new commands in Kaduna

According to Corps Marshal Dauda Biu, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has established nine new commands in Kaduna State.
Biu made the remark on Thursday during the commissioning of the newly built Sector Command office in Kaduna.
He noted that the structure’s completion was an important step forward in the Corps’ efforts to make Nigerian roads among the safest in the world.
“It is also of great importance not only in positively positioning the corps to address traffic situations in Nigeria for improved road transportation,” Biu stated.
“But, also in producing a crop of personnel with high level of professionalism and discipline who will be ready, at all times to sacrifice their comfort to save lives on the roads.”
According to the Corps Marshal, the FRSC has developed a rich culture of professionalism and quality in service delivery over the last three decades.
“Which has positioned it as the leading agency in road safety management and traffic administration, with an unrivaled passion and enduring commitment to creating a safer motoring environment in the African sub-region.”
Biu stated that the Corps would continue to develop its strategies, programs, knowledge, and processes in order to overcome all of the obstacles to effective and efficient safety administration in Nigeria.
According to him, since the Corps’ second decade of existence, frantic attempts have been made to broaden both its internal and exterior frontiers through more strong collaborations on all fronts.
According to Biu, this has resulted in a paradigm shift in road safety administration from the old to the Safe Systems Approach.
