Ondo commissioners are not forging my signature, says Gov. Akeredolu

Ondo Governor Rotimi Akeredolu has denied allegations that some commissioners and other officials are forging his signature.

Recall that Kayode Ajulo, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said that some government officials were faking Akeredolu’s signature on official documents.

Ajulo claimed that the void left by Akeredolu’s illness allowed cabals to forge his signature in order to justify their deeds.

Akeredolu, through his Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde, dismissed Ajulo’s comments, calling it “utterly preposterous and ludicrous,” and demanding him to provide tangible evidence.

Olatunde accused Ajulo of relying on “fabricated signatures” circulated on social media in a statement.

He demanded that Ajulo produce the allegedly fabricated documents or reveal the recipient.

According to Olatunde:

“We are more than willing to investigate the matter and prosecute anyone found culpable.

“But we cannot entertain baseless speculations and unfounded claims.

“The individuals behind these fabricated signatures are the real culprits engaging in criminal activities.

“The truth of the matter is only Governor Akeredolu can claim that his signature has been forged.”
