Former vice president Yemi Osinbajo attended the function in the nation’s capital, Abuja, with President Buhari.
Among the others present are Senator Godswill Akpabio, the president of the Senate, and former first lady Aisha Buhari.
The book by Femi Adesina will be displayed with five volumes of Muhammadu Buhari: The Nigerian Legacy, 2015–2023 by another author.
This will be President Muhammadu Buhari’s first formal visit to the nation’s capital since he departed on May 29, 2018, the penultimate day of his presidency.
This will be one of the few times since the May 29 handover that the current president, who is also the special guest of honor, and the outgoing president will appear in public together.
Several presidential aides and ministers from President Buhari’s federal cabinet are in attendance for the book launch, which is taking place in the Transcorp Hilton hotel in Abuja’s conference hall.
