On Wednesday, service chiefs testified before the Senate Joint Committee, which included the Army, Navy, Defense, and Air Force, to discuss the inquiry of the deaths of 17 soldiers in the Delta State village.
Recall that some military personnel who were on a peacekeeping mission in the state were last Thursday ambushed and murdered in Okuama community in the Ughelli South Local Government Area.
Given the sensitivity of the matter, the Chairman of the joint committee, Ahmed Lawan, disclosed that the investigative hearing will be held behind closed doors.
