Yemi Osinbajo, a former vice president, met with Godswill Akpabio, the Senate president, Adams Oshiomhole, a former governor of Edo, and a few other senators on Wednesday.
Following the completion of the elections, Osinbajo, the chairman of the Commonwealth Observer Group, was traveling from Sierra Leone when, by pure coincidence, he ran across Akpabio and his entourage in the protocol lounge of Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja.
According to Platinum Times, Osinbajo and Akpabio are both leaders of the APC, the current government.
The incumbent president, Bola Tinubu, defeated the former vice president in the 2022 party’s presidential primary.
